Warning signs

When to call for a repair

Any of these is a good reason to have a professional take a look. None of them means you automatically need a new roof.

  • Stains on ceilings or walls

Brown rings or bubbling paint often mean water is getting in somewhere above.

  • Cracked, slipped or missing tiles

Even one displaced tile can let rain reach the underlayment below it.

  • Worn or lifted flashing

The metal around chimneys, vents and valleys is a common entry point for water.

  • Damage after a monsoon storm

Wind and heavy rain can loosen materials in ways that are hard to see from the ground.

  • Granules in the gutters

On shingle roofs, granules washing off can be a sign of wear from sun and heat.

  • Water pooling on a flat roof

Standing water on a low-slope roof puts extra strain on seams and coatings.

The service

How a repair works

Water rarely comes in where the stain appears. It can travel along the underlayment or the roof deck before it shows up inside, so a good repair starts by tracing the leak to its source.

Depending on what we find, a repair can mean resetting or replacing tiles, replacing damaged shingles, resealing vents and penetrations, or repairing flashing. If the underlayment beneath is worn, we explain that too, because it changes what a lasting fix looks like.

Process

What to expect

  1. Step 1: Tell us what you see

Call or send the form with a few details: the roof type, where the problem is and when you noticed it.

  2. Step 2: Inspection with photos

We look at the damaged area and the roof around it, and show you photos of what we find.

  3. Step 3: Written, itemized estimate

You see what the repair includes and what each part costs before anything is scheduled.

  4. Step 4: Repair and walkthrough

Once approved, the work is scheduled. At the end we walk you through what was done.

FAQ

Roof repair questions

Can a leak be fixed without replacing the whole roof?

Often, yes. If the damage is limited to one area and the rest of the roof is in reasonable shape, a targeted repair is usually the sensible option. The inspection is what tells you which case you are in.

Should I wait until monsoon season is over?

It is better not to. Small problems tend to grow with every storm. If you notice a leak or loose materials, it is worth having them looked at early.

Will you show me what is wrong?

Yes. Findings are photographed so you can see the problem areas on your own roof and understand the recommendation.

Which roof types do you repair?

Tile, asphalt shingle, and flat or low-slope roofs, which are the most common systems on homes in the Yuma area.
